Hello,

It will sound basic for some advanced GC users, but I have a spare GC-FID system and I need to evaluate some H2S gas streams.
Is it possible to quantify H2S by using the above system? and what capillar column would be more suitable?

Thanks
The short answer is no. You do get some signal, but your sensitivity and reproducibility are terrible. Easier and better ways to run H2S
