Hi!
I have clean my source from my HP5973N but repeller give a high value (34.8) and entrance lens is low (9)...normally, repeller give 24 and entrance lens give 16...i have reclean 2x my source but i have again the same value.
Is it possible that my electron multiplier horn is the source of my problem?

Rick,
Did you reset the autotune value to default prior to tuning? If autotune is started with previous autotune settings, the tuning algorithm simply re-adjusts the settings back and forth a little to achieve your pre-set criteria. Try and see the difference if you start tuning after resetting the tune values to default first.

I would like to share some interesting findings about Repeller figures on tune report I observed on my Agilent 5973N. The Repeller figure was 32 when a tune was performed using a method method (Flow rate: 0.5 mL/min) and the Repeller figure was 25 when a tune was performed using a normal working method (Flow rate: 1.0 mL/min).

Jimmy

Sorry about my last post that contained a typo. The method at flow rate of 0.5 mL/min means standby method.
