hi,
i m facing problems in qunatifying isobutyl aceto acetate. I have tried to do so on Rtx-1701, DB-624, Hp-5 and Hp-1. but on none of the trials i got satisfactory results. The peak shape was not proper. But i came to know that people use to qunatify the same by GC only.
Do i need to go for derivatization of the same. If yes then which one would be the best suited derivatizing agent ?
can anyone suggest me the conditions and the column ?
