The pKa values of p-nitrobenzoic acid and p-aminobenzoic acid are 3.47 and 2.5 respectively. With combined experience and with this information help in solving the problem.

Your nitrobenzoic acid will retain based on reverse phase and ion-exchange mechanisms.
You can use other buffers too depending on your detection technique.
