Hi there. I have a question.

Seems that I have difficulty communicating the Analyst 1.4.1 software (hot fixes until May 2006) with the Agilent 1100 HPLC.

I cant get the autosampler to work with the software and I have tried to swap and change the port and communication cables but the problem still persists. I tried to disable the column and the quad pump and to my surprise, the autosampler works!!! Can anyone tell me what I can do to sort this problem out?

Of course, the Analyst software is compatible because there is no such problem with the other coupled systems. I have tried to reinstalled the Analyst software as well as getting Agilent engineer to change the firmware of the HPLC system but to no avail.

If anyone have any insights, do let me know. Thanks a lot!
