Hi

Is it possible to put the MS in standby while keeping the HPLC running? I know that you can do this manually, but we need to put the MS automatically to standby from worklist or method.

We are using a Agilent 6420, Agilent 1260 HPLC and Masshunter B.06
Hello

If you're going to use only LC-UV method it is easier to remove MSD from configuration. It takes only minutes and then you can reconfigure it again if MSD is needed.

If (for some reason) you need MSD in system all the time (you want to use sequence with different methods) you can try to set up method for LC-UV-MSD and use programe (time events) to keep MSD in stand-by mode.
