Hello,

Is it possible to compare data from different folders/projects in Empower?

I would like to know before creating a project architecture which is inconvenient for us.

Any tips on project architecture are welcome.

Thanks in advance!
Short answer: yes.

Log Answer: from the configuration manager you can select multiple projects, right click, and choose open. This will open all of the projects for you to browse data. You can then select what you want and compare the data in a manner that you see fit.

As far as architecture is concerned, it depends on what you are doing. In guessing that you are regulated (either QC or R&D) I recumbent test method numbers are created at the project root followed by a year for each test method project. Every year you archive off your data and copy all of your preferences, etc. from the test method number root project.
Provided the projects in question have the same audit trail status, an alternative to the above is to create a new project, drag stuff (result sets, report methods) from other projects in to the new one and do your comparisons, process only sample set creation etc. in the new project.
Thanks,
DR
