ThermoScientific TRACE1300 ISQ stuck on 'initializing'

Hi all - I'm still new to this forum so excuse me if I don't explain/do things properly.

I'm having issues with my TRACE 1300 gas chromatograph. It is stuck on 'initializing' or 'post run' status. I'm using Xcalibur with the system and nothing happens when I click on 'run sample'.

The system was working fine but we had a power outage recently. I turned it back on and did a couple runs on it but today it just won't do any thing.

Any ideas on why this is happening ? let me know if I can provide any more information !

Thank you very much
Loay
I don't work with the same system/software but there are plenty of reasons why a GC run won't start.

Does it make a sequence log when you start a run? Can you find clues there?

A couple of reasons why an injection doesn't start:

- Data file already exists
- Autosampler is 'parked' or stuck somehow
- Syringe is not installed / in position
- Column is disconnected
- ...
Thank you very much! I ended up restarting the system and everything went back to normal. Apparently there was a power glitch due to a storm and it messed up some stuff.

Thanks again
Loay
