Dear members of this forum,

I would like to start contacts with people who work with Waters HPLC Model 2690. I try to start a routine in order to do a good preventive maintenance and avoid the corrective maintenance.
Thanks in advance for your help,

Diego

1) See about upgrading it to a 2695
2) Degasser present? If so, anticipate problems there first.
3) Take a 2690/2695 short course. They will show you how to replace all of the consumables, prevent/fix those pesky needle errors etc.
Thanks,
DR

Well, I have used Waters 2690/2695 since they are on the market. I highly recommend you take the training course. Also, you can seek help from Waters customer service group via phone the phone is nearby the instrument. In a GMP environment, we all need to do IQ/OQ/PQ, I highly recommend you use Waters service. They have a very good service contract program so that we can be sure the instrument is in working conditions. Of course, we all have to do a lot system check when we run the sample. Good luck.

Our Instrument Services department does our PMs on our 2695 instruments. We purchase the PM kit from waters (WAT270944) and using the 2690 user manual you can follow the instructions on replacing the various components contained in the PM kit.
