Brass fittings with copper tubing?
Discussions about GC and other "gas phase" separation techniques.

Just want to confirm something. Im plumbing the filters for gases for a GC. Im correct to say brass fitting go with copper tubing and obviously steel fitting go with steel tubing.?

Yes. You can also use steel fittings on copper tube. The rule is that the fitting has to be harder than the tube. I'm assuming that were talking fittings with tapered ferrules that bite into the tube here.
