not appearing peaks

If hot air is exiting the back of the GC when it's running a sample (and should be heating or holding heat), then hot air is exiting the oven compartment due to flaps being open or partially open. I just repaired a 5890 GC last week by replacing its oven flap motor to correct that problem, and have done 6890s as well. One time the flap rivet just gave away and I riveted the flap back on (once a mechanic, always a mechanic).

hi!

there is no air coming out the oven during a sample run. At last I found out that the interface was not heated properly, and caused the peaks not appearing.
thank you all for your help

Thanks for telling us the solution! There had to be a temperature problem anywhere and I am glad you found it.
