Thank you!!
I'm learning a lot from all of you.
I will apply the changes you suggested and post the results.

Michael.
Hi Michael

Great
As a note of caution, just change one thing at a time to understand what is happening.

Perhaps try your 4mm liner with 100uL/sec injection speed splitless first, keeping all other conditions the same.

Thank you.

I will probably have the results by tomorrow.

Hi Michael

I am not sure of your time zone but if that doesn't work (or even if it does) try also, if you have the time

4mm liner with a 10:1 split and 100 and 500uL/sec injection speeds to compare.

Hi Michael

Did you get a chance to try the changes?

Feedback to the forum members would be appreciated.

Kind regards

Sorry that i didn't get a chance to post.
I tried with a 4mm liner:
with injection speed of 100ul/min the shoulder got worse!
with injection speed of 700ul/min the peak shape improved but the shoulder is still noticeable.
I didn't get a change to try split injection.

I will probably try again in the next two weeks i hope because i don't have access to the GC right now.

And again sorry that i didn't post.

I will update as soon as i have a chance to try again!
Hi Michael
