Agilent GC-MS connection to PC

Agilent GC-MS connection to PC

Hi all,
I changed my gc-ms (agilent 7890b/5977a) PC but after installation of software and adjusting the IP address in LAN connection and then software configuration, the IPs of MS and GC are not found by the PC whereas I can ping them. Is there any other adjustments?

Do you have two Ethernet cards, i.e. one for the House Ethernet, and the other for the GCMS.

As the GCMS Ethernet card must be set to the top of priority list in the advanced section of the network connections.

Can test to see if house Ethernet card is interfering by disconnecting it.

Also look at firewall settings, as it may be blocking Chemstation.
