Easy way to test is to run a test injection using mobile phase that was degassed by you and then again using mobile phase that wasn't degassed by you (relying on the instrument). If you notice a significant difference in the quality of the baseline, that will be your answer.
This story is set in a monastery in northern France sometime in the late 13th century. For some reason, a question had come up regarding the number of teeth in a horse's mouth. The abbot decreed that the monks should research the problem in the Bible, in the works of the Green philosophers, and in the writings of St. Augustine, Origen, and the other Church fathers and report back at the next chapter meeting.
The next week, the monks reported that they had found no mention of the subject in any of the books, so it obviously was a mystery which God had intended than man should not comprehend.
At that point, a young novice in the back of the refectory raised his hand.
"Yes, Brother Jerome", said the abbot.
"Reverend Abbot, why don't we go out to the stables and look in a horse's mouth to count the teeth?"
He was put on bread and water for a month in penance for his effrontery.
Moral: try it both ways and see what happens.
