We have a Shimadzu LC-10ATvp and need to replace both the plunger seal and the rinse seal. I am wonder what the difference is between these two items because they are very similar in appearance.
Different color?) Very poor pictures in manual so i'm not sure which is plunger.
But normally black one is plunger seal.
Kind regards,

Hi.
I have serviced the Shimadzu HPLC for >10 years. The plunger seal (black/yellow) and back seal (white) are almost the same. However, the back seal is not strong as the plunger seal.

Do you want to use motor oil (color code yellow) as a substitute for antifreeze (color code green)?

Note: I do not work for Shimadzu.
