do you know what is the problem, retention time is fixed.
Please, we need more details. My crystal ball is frozen. What sample compound, what column (C18 is not enough), mobile phase etc.?
Could be that your compound is disappearing from the vial, absorption to glass or the stationary phase. Many options.

Yes, there two additional samples, which are inserted in between every other two samples.
