Hi all,
I am looking for a method for determination of acetone in gasoline by GC/FID. Can I use D4815 for that ?
Thanks for any help.
thohry,

Two ways. 4815 should be able to do that and so should DB-1/Lowox column combo depending on the concentration. If trace acetone, lowox works great because the oxygenates are so well retained. If high concentration then 4815 or big split on DB-1/Lowox combination.

Best regards,

AICMM
