Can I use one packed column to separate O2, CO2 and CH4?

Hello to the all.

I want to separate oxygen, methane and carbon dioxide, in a 6890N GC equipped with a TCD. The sample is air eluted from a reactor.
Instead of using parallel column configuration (1 inlet, two capillary columns, 1 valve, 1 detector), can I use one single packed column?

I have in mind to use HayeSep D 100/120, Nickel 200, 20ft x 1/8".

Is it possible, by ONE air sample injection to separate the 3 above-mentioned substances using the HayeSep D column?

You mention that your sample is air, so there will be nitrogen present. The answer to your question depends on what you are trying to achieve. What is your carrier gas? Are you trying to quantitate your results, or do you just wish to know if these compounds are present. If you need to quantitate your results, using helium as carrier gas, and expect percent levels of your compounds, I would not recommend this column. Please note that no concentrations are given in the chromatogram in your link. It may work for low concentrations.

I use helium as carrier gas and the goal is, after separation, to quantitate the three peaks.
