Has anyone tried using Upchurch 2µ inlet solvent filters (catalogue No. 42700-00) for UPLC analysis? Does it cause more backpressure compared to the traditional 10µ HPLC inlet solvent filters?

Practically , I don't think that 2µ filters produce more backpressure ( actually correct word is more ''vacuum '' ) at the beginning , but certainly they will be clogged more rapidly in the time course.

The frits at the end of the UPLC column would be significantly smaller than 2 micron.
