I am analyzing a CH4 - H2 mixture using a loop. When I heat the loop, I get larger area compare to the analysis at lower loop temperature. Can anyone expain this phenomenon?
Are you using an uncoated metal loop or one with a rough surface area?

Is that enough of a hint?
