Varian 3800 remain at "equlibrating"

Discussions about GC and other "gas phase" separation techniques.

I have a Varian GC 3800 that worked 2 year ago but has not been turned on since.

When I load a method and after all variables set at desired values (flow, temperature and .... ), GC is stuck on "equilibrating" and dose not go to "ready" situation . I also select a name for my injection and press the "injection" in software, but GC is not ready for injection.

Another problem is FID is shut-down after several second. Each time I turn it on manually, It turns off again. All gases (H2, Air and make-up gas flows are correct). FID temperature is 200 0C and electronic is on.

Any help would be appreciated.
Does the GC actually reach the set temperature of the method.

What method parameter is not met so the GC does not enter 'ready' mode?

Rod
All parameters are reach the set values and green lights are light.

Thanks
