UPS - Battery Backups for 6890 GCs?

Discussions about GC and other "gas phase" separation techniques.

We have intermittent power interruptions at our facility for which we'd like to set up both of our 6890 GC systems on a UPS battery backup system. We have used these with good luck for our 1100 LC systems. Would this particular model support the power requirements of a 6890 GC?

The plan would be to set each 6890 system up on a separate UPS.

Most of the power interruptions we have only last for a few seconds. Thanks for any feedback from other users who have connected their GCs to a UPS system. I'd like to know which specific model(s) of UPS would be appropriate for a GC.
I have my 6890/5973 connected to an APC model SUA3000RM2U UPS and it provides ~10 minutes of backup which has eliminated previous shutdowns. It was a while ago so I don't remember how we calculated the size but maybe you can reference something from this model
Definitely need the 3000VA UPS for the GC oven- the 6890 is labelled for 2200VA max on the back next to the label. Watch the plug type when you order, they come with a 30A plug, which requires a new outlet in the lab.
Well worth the cost to protect your instrument, we have had quite a few power interruptions. Batteries last at least 5 years and easy to replace.
