When I took HPLC class (500 years ago!) we determined the t0 by injecting Uracik (CAS # 66-22-8). I did this, using 1.0 mls/min and first eluent water (RT 3.662 min. Changed to 50/50 water/MeOH got RT 1.6 min, and then 100% MeOH RT 1.6 min. So, I think I am fine: having a mobile phase of at least 50% MeOH the chemical goes through the system without being retained. Am I correct? Sorry, I am drawing a blank.
You are correct. :D
