has anyone used Restek Molesive 5A? what is the packing material? need for conditioning... many thanks
If Restek describes it as Molesieve 5A then it should be molecular sieve 5A.

This is a calcium alumino silicate which is capable of absorbing about 20% water by weight.

Proper conditioning to remove water should be done slowly by passing a dry gas through the mineral particles and increasing the temperature slowly to 200°C or higher when/if indicated by the amount of resolution of O2 and N2 when a sample of air is passed through the mineral particles.

best wishes,

Rod
