Excellent opportunity for a Chemistry or related graduate with a high level of experience with various LC/MS platform; product expertise within varied industries and customer types, to join a well established measuring solutions organization as LC/MS Product Specialist, based in Singapore supporting South Asia Pacific region.

This is a key role in developing, driving and executing clear and compelling LC/MS business plan to ensure team alignment with business goals and objects. Full accountability for the market share in territory with responsibility for country integrated solution approach, creating overall value for customer.

1. Pre-sale activities
• Increase the availability of technical advice to customers and colleagues
• Support sales account manager and distributors for LC/MS products in South Asia Pacific Region
• Involve distributor and customer meeting to discuss LC/MS techniques and instrument selection to best suit customer application
• Offer consultation to distributor/customer based on experience working with other labs with these applications
• LC/MS seminars ,user group workshops and presentations
• Plan to introduce LC/MS e-seminars for customers
• Involve in new product releases

2. During and closing sale
• Consult with sales account manager &/or distributor about deal strategy and tactics
• Provide relevant technical info to progress the deal
• Manage the demo or sample analysis
• Assist in closing deal

3. Ongoing Activities
• Collect and review business data relevant to LC/MS such as funnel information, win/loss, competitive pricing, installed base for both company and competitors.
• Update competitive product information to field and Solution unit
• Detailed LC/MS market study including markets, drivers, growth potential and competition
• Utilize CRM tool as the platform for business discussion

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry or related discipline (Master or PhD is added advantage)
• High level of experience with various LC/MS platform; product expertise within varied industries and customer types
• Some level of application knowledge and working knowledge of LC/MS & LC/MS/MS – Triple Quadrupole, Ion Trap & Time-of-Flight techniques are key.
• Commercial/selling skills: Business development experience, strong experience in sales/closing skills
• Able to formulate sales plans that are consistent with Chemical Analysis products and strategy
• Highly motivated, creative and result oriented individual who is able to work with minimum supervision
• Ability to motivate and positively influence others
• Ability to effectively communicate on the phone, oral and written communications
• Work as a team, Wants the team to succeed and actively works to ensure that it happens
• Advantage if having handling experience in multi-country customers
• Must be able to travel in South Asia Pacific countries
