The famous chromatography/mass spec summer course will take place once again this year at University of the Pacific in Stockton, California. The course dates are August 2-6.

This intensive, five-day course features morning lectures & student presentations followed by the afternoon hands-on laboratory. Topics include operational, maintenance, and method development considerations for both LC/MS and GC/MS plus discussion and practice on interpretation of mass spectra. The laboratory sessions are conducted using our in-house instruments plus the latest instrumentation donated by vendors for use in this course. The labs feature real experiments, not canned demonstrations and the experiments are conducted by the attendees. Expert teaching assistants are available at all times to consult on labs and homework projects.

The course instructors are O. David Sparkman, Frederick Klink, & Patrick Jones who collectively have an enormous amount of experience in both chromatography and mass spec techniques.

Tuition is US$3095 per person. The class is limited to 26 attendees, so register early to ensure yourself a seat. For more information, to download a 2010 brochure, and to sign up for the course visit: http://www.lcresources.com/training/trc ... sspec.html.
