Dissolution basket shafts

Hi!! Since only the 3-clip basket attachments are shown in USP <711>, does this mean that the Distek shafts to which the baskets attach by an o-ring design are non-USP compliant? Thanks for your response in advance!

I think there is no difference between them, but I recognize my experience is only with SOTAX equipment. Distek will not produce some non-USP article (Its only an educated guess!) that would be non compliant.

Thanks, Fernando! I actually called Distek yesterday to see how they justified calling their o-ring basket attachments as USP compliant. They called back this morning and didn't really have a straightforward answer, but offered that they sell clips to attach so that the setup mirrors what is shown in USP <711> Figure 1.
