Interesting concept, I wonder how practical it really is. I did a quick back of the envelope calcuation, and came up with a little over 20 hour run time iwth an FID using 400 mL/min hydrogen. As a carrier gas run time would be longer as long as a low split ratio or carrier gas saver was used. Any idea how the price compares with a hydrogen generator?

Hi Ron
Price ?, no clue, I just looked at what was on the web site. Compared to generators the main disadvantge has to be that you still have to have a source of hydrogen to charge the metal hydride. Their niche is probably portable and mobile systems.
