You know, I'd actually never thought of that! But it would be fun.

Off the top of my head, how about soliciting nominations for the most interesting/useful thread in each on each of the three "major" categories (LC, GC, and hyphenated techniques)? After January 1, we could set up a poll to vote among the nominees. Great first prizes would be copies of Ettre's book Milestones in the Evolution of Chromatography. My thought would be to award the prize to the originator of the thread.

But I'm open to other suggestions . . .

a nice idea, this nomination. I would go for the highest number of views per reply and nominate the originator.
