Hi, I want to start creating my site, and try to promote it. Is there anyone here who has been involved in this, or could you advise something? I know only a minimal theory, but I would like to understand in which direction to move
And, in principle, I don’t really understand how to create a website at all, what you need to do specifically, which platform to choose, hosting, etc.
how good you know about coding?

First you need to make a decision on the structure of the site, on which CMS it will be, for what purposes, to think over all the necessary functionalities (breadcrumbs, catalogs, pages with goods, if this is a store). After the beginning has been made and even if you have a small plan, then look at the guide on how to make a website and follow the instructions, I think that there will be no problems there, you will begin to understand and develop. This is an excellent practical guide on how to make a website in 2020, and then you will begin to learn the front (css, html, js if necessary) and also to study SEO itself, set the meta tags correctly and so on.
