I used a typewriter when I was in college. And two of my fingers; I was told by the guidance counselor in high school NOT to take typing class, as that would be of no use to me in the future....

The point is that writing academic papers is really no different than writing anything else. For example, Lloyd Snyder has written 8 books (counting 2nd & 3rd editions) and several hundred papers. He uses MS Word / Excel / Powerpoint, Adobe Acrobat reader, and Google for search on the Firefox browser.

Your own brain is also very useful tool. Seems to fall into oblivion...
Hi, Dear! there are thousands of tools available on the internet for academic writing research. I also use research-gate or 123helpme for researching and collecting related material. Or if you want to cite these materials so I use ama citation generator. These 2 tools are most important for academic writing otherwise you will also avail writing services But they do not write good pieces.
Hi,
I use usually Word, also check my text in Grammarly and some Plagiarism checker, also apply for citations ama citations generator.

I agree with you, our brain is perhaps the best tool for writing the academic paper! :!: :!: :!:
I graduated from university three years ago, now I work as a writer of one scientific magazine. But when I have free time, I take up freelancing. My love of writing, the ability to see the details gives me the opportunity to work as an author of an academic paper in various fields.
To write a worthy essay, you need to make some efforts. My most important and useful tool is the encyclopedia. It perfectly helps in carrying out scientific research. Typically, the professor does not encourage the use of random sites and Wikipedia as the basis for scientific research.
In the encyclopedia, you can find quality indicators of trustworthy books that can be used as resources. And Hemingway http://www.hemingwayapp.com/ is an excellent essay helper, it's an optimized text editor. It works through a browser, so it does not need to be downloaded to your computer.
And one more tool, without which writing would not be so pleasant. This is
LibreOffice Writer.
This is a free alternative to Microsoft Word, which surpasses many of the function of Microsoft https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Feature_Comparison:_LibreOffice_-_Microsoft_Office.
I forgot to write about such an innovative application as Evernote. This tool allows you to collect the quotes, ideas, and images throughout the whole day. The basic version of this tool is free and allows you to create various notes and lists. You can download it here https://appcenter.evernote.com/.

There are several things that have always worked for me.
1.Begin writing your paper as early as you can. Remember you need to spend more
time working on your assignment than other students. Give yourself enough time to
research, plan, write, revise, and rewrite.
2. Decide on a specific research question or argument. Find a question or an argument
that you can investigate and find evidence to prove or explain in your paper. Also, it will
help you write a well focused thesis statement.
3. Research the topic and find valid dependable resources to use in your paper. You
can use the library university resources which contain a variety of types of scholarly
information. Also, it will enable you to use different search engines until you find the
information you need to develop your ideas.
As mentioned above, there are plenty, but I particularly liked that one:
