Hi all,

Wondering if anyone knows a way to create internal standard response reports in Environmental Data Analysis (Chemstation). Specifically, EPA 8270 requires internal standard responses in analytical samples to fall within 50-200% of the most recent CCV and I'd like to come up with a way to automatically generate a report showing that each injection's internal standard response is within range, rather than having to punch the recoveries into Excel and manually check each value on the individual quant reports.

Thanks
Load the CCV, then under the Continuing Calibration menu item select Save Continuing ISTD Response, then select QA Check Report.

It will then ask you to select the file for the tune check (DFTPP in the case of SVOA), then will get a list of all the files in that directory and you select all the files after the CCV until the next tune injection and move them to the right hand side and select Process.

This will generate a text report that will summarize the ISTD responses, the Surrogate Recoveries(if you entered the amount and % deviation in the analyte setup and marked them with S in type). It will flag any that exceed the ISTD limit set Edit Continuing Calibration Criteria window and will flag any samples past the 12 hour tune limit if you set the limit to 12 hours in the same window.
The past is there to guide us into the future, not to dwell in.
