Data file converters - ASCII -> AIA

I'm looking for a utility that will convert ASCII text files to AIA-format 2D chromatography data files for import into chromatographic software (specifically Empower, but that shouldn't be the limiting factor). The .txt files are basically two columns of numbers - time and signal intensity. Has anyone ever come across a utility to do this? Most packages will export ASCII data (as well as AIA data) and will import AIA.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

A 21CFR part 11 compliant package will almost certainly go to considerable lengths to PREVENT you from doing just that. Issues arise when it becomes possible for users to create raw data files in this manner. If you wish to investigate further, I would look into Chrom Merge - it may not be as particular. You may well be able to look at AIA formatted files and mimic them using another application (open one, make some changes, save-as...) and then read them into Chrom Merge or Drylab or whatever.
Thanks,
DR
