Hi all,

In our lab we have an Agilent 1100 series LC stack used with a Bruker Esquire-LC MS. The Esquire is controlled by Chemstation enough that it can turn the MS on/off and can signal the MS to start an acquisition when the LC method starts to run (which is all we need).

We want to have a similar set up, but with a Bruker AmaZon ETD instead. Everything has been installed the same way as with the Esquire. The issue now is that the Chemstation software doesn't seem to recognize the AmaZon at all. When we set up Chemstation with the Esqure, the MS was automatically recognized and controlled. Should the AmaZon also be automatically recognized? Or is there some further setup for Chemstation to communicate with this instrument?

Thanks in advance!
