Hi, does anybody have knowledge/experience of using OpenLab CDS to create a custom calculation. I want to compute the %Recovery of a system check sample against the reported/quantitated amount obtained for a calibration standard.
I was thinking this would be quite straightforward however i am failing miserably and would much appreciate any help offered.
Thanks
Hi ,

Been a while since I have used Open lab

% Recovery should not need a custom field if you add weights and dilutors /multipliers to sample and standards v calib curve (area v amount for stds)

reference worth looking at :

Hi, thanks for the reply. I had previously found the manual you referenced quite useful when working with EZChrom CDS. I am no further ahead in using Openlab2.2 to perform this calculation: Reported amount cal std 2 when run as a sample / The reported cal std 2 amount when run as standard and quantified against the curve * 100.
All ideas are appreciated. Thanks
Hi Camelia, i have a Custom Calculation that does that for you. Of course on demo data but if you send me an email then I could help you.
