Thermo Xcalibur Instrument Setup

I have a problem with Thermo Xcalibur. PC crashed while open and now within Xcalibur (and outside of Xcalibur) I cannot open Instrument Setup. One way to get around this is to setup a new user, but now this has happened twice and this solution is not very fluid.

Thanks in advance if there are solutions to what seems to be a common Xcalibur problem.
