I have seen one person mention it is possible but either I have a different version of Mass Hunter or it just doesn't work with the 7000 like it does with the 5975 and 5977. Does anyone know if there is a way to do SIM and Scan together on the 7000 MS1 like you can on a 5975? As powerful as this instrument is you would think it was possible.

Hey James,

Did you have any luck with this? I am also looking for this acquisition mode; which doesn't seem possible with the options in mass hunter. Any help would be appreciated. thanks
So far I have not found a way to make it work. The option is there for single quad instruments but not triples. Doesn't really make sense to not enable such a powerful tool on the flagship instrument like that.
