I want to put in a calculation custom field on my PDA Related Substances Empower 2 method which basically calculates: Peak area of impurity/Peak area of standard x 100 x RRF of specified impurity.
For this to work, under the "Components" tab of processing method, do you put in the impurity name under "Curve Reference" followed by the specific RRF under the "Relative Response" and make a custom calculation along the lines of =Area/Area Standard*100*RRF. But how would this calculate impurities with an RRF of 1?

Can anyone help?
I think you are on the right track.

Unknowns and names peaks all default to a RRF of 1. Note that RRF is a multiplier, not a divisor. CF not required.
Thanks,
DR
