Hi Experts,
we have here a Waters 996 PDA which should now work with the Ezchrom Lite HPLC System connected via a Agilent GBIP-USB INterface. Has anyone here have idears who to configurate and work with this combination? We have the Waters 996 from Empower WIN 2000 System, which will not be used anymore. But we would like to use the 996 PDA with our WIN 7 Ezchrom HPLC System. I have the Agilent GBIP-USB Driver with Agilent IO Libraries 16 installed. (We have used the IF with Agilent Diode Arrays on another system WIN 7 and work fine.) So I would be great if we could use the GBIP-USB IF now with the Waters 996 PDA. Please give me some advice and ideas how we can make that combination work. Thanks a lot! :?:

PS: I have found this: (http://cn.agilent.com/cs/library/datasheets/public/5991-5355EN_OpenLAB_CDS_Waters_Alliance_eAlliance_Data_Sheet.pdf )
The Agilent M8239AA “Waters Alliance Control for OpenLAB CDS” is an
instrument control driver add-on for Agilent OpenLAB CDS EZChrom and
ChemStation editions. It enables full instrument control of and data acquisition
from the Waters Alliance and Waters e-Alliance, including the Waters 996, 2996
PDA and Waters 2489 Dual Wavelength Detector in Agilent OpenLAB CDS.

And that: http://cn.agilent.com/cs/library/usermanuals/public/M8239-Install%20Upgrade%20and%20Migration%20Guide.pdf

Can this be the solution? Please reply any good advices/infos/ideas.
