I have a 5890 Series II with a 3rd party pulsed-discharge helium-ionization detector. Chemstation on a Win98 box collects data from the flame and controls the GC. I was using EZChrom Elite 2.6 to collect data from the PDHID through a SS420x A/D conversion box. Over the weekend, the hard drive on that Win2000 computer died. I found a new/old hard drive with Win2000 on it (I don't throw stuff away) and was able to revive the PC. I have all of the EZChrom disks so I tried to reinstall the software but to move the previous installation to a new machine, I would've had to create a new license disk before moving it. Since the hard drive failed, I can't do that. Such is my dilemma.
If you're in my situation and you want to remedy it for the least amount of money possible, what do you do?
