Dear All,

I am having a weird problem, after sample injection, the real time plot says: "Acquisition is pending: no scans received yet", the weird thing is this problem does not show always, basically I can do one analysis then on the second problem comes up, and sometimes it comes up from the first analysis.

Of course I have checked hardware and software and everything seems alright.

P.S: I have a spare PC where everything works normally when I switch to it, but this spare PC have many issues I cannot count on, I need this main PC to work.

Appreciate your help, this is my first post.

Thank you,
Best regards.
to make it clear: no data are collected, or it is just the absence of a real-time plot?

if no data is collected, what is the status that you see in XCalibur for MS and GC, "Running" or "Waiting for contact closure"? (you have an AS, I presume?)

it might be a synchronization issue; if I remember correctly the start signal is transmitted from GC to XCalibur via COM-port. given that the other PC works OK, maybe you have got a faulty COM controller (or improper settings, such as parity, baud rate...) in your main PC
