Hi everyone,

I have some trouble with my data processing with Chromeleon. Some peaks are not correctly assigned in my chromatogram and when I try to assign the peaks manually a window pops up with the error "Object reference not set to an instance of an object". Closing Chromeleon and re-open it again was working with some sequences...
Can someone tell me what this error means and how to fix it?

Thanks in advance,
Kat
Some of the error messages in Chromeleon are not especially helpful. This appears to be one of those.

Exactly what are you doing when the message appears?

Are you running standalone or client-server?

Has anyone else experienced the same problem (different workstation)?
I get this often when working in Chromeleon. It means it isn't happy about something you did and moved on. What it was is never explained. I don't use Chromeleon often enough to know its quirks so I just tolerate these annoyances.
Just a programming error.
Demand a servicepack from vendor.
