Just checking whether you are aware that Separation Science and Kantisto have started a new series, CE Solutions. We aim for a low-threshold, practical and pragmatic aid for the implementation of the CE techniques by focusing on method development, validation, good CE working practices and troubleshooting for scientists and technicians.
There are four issues out now, with access also through the SepScience home page:
1. Why CE? (introduction and some fundamentals)
2. Method Development in CE: Selecting your background electrolyte
3. The CE Capillary
4. Capillary Conditioning — The Foundation of Precision in CE

Every two months a new issue will appear and you can subscribe via the link in one of the issues.
And I would appreciate your feedback, as well as your topics of interest :!:

Cari
I have read all four issues and learned so much!

Thank you :D :D :D :D :D

It would be nice to learn about typical system suitability acceptance criteria in CE. Or maybe typical audit findings for CE methods or CE equipment (for us in the regulated industries)
Thanks, I'll take up SST in a next issue!

As for audit findings.... Well, the usual. Similar as for other techniques and methods. I have never noticed any special treating of the technique. You have to keep your equipment in good shape, do the appropriate testing and documentation. And you have to be able to justify your method and show what you do what for. As usual.
On submitting CE methods in registration files, similar. We should all know by now that the regulatory agencies have their own specialists, as you can observe at meetings like CEPharm (CE in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry, http://www.casss.org).
