Spare parts for Dionex IC-3000

Our lab wants to expand and is about to buy an ion chromatography system. We have the opportunity to buy a used IC-3000. I called Thermo scientific and say said the instrument will be out of service next year.
From experience, would you guys buy such a used instrument, are there spare parts and consumables such as seals available from third-party vendors? Or should we try to find an instrument form a newer series.
