Hello,

We have a Dionex ICS5000 system with a pulsed amperometric detector and an eluent generator for sugars analysis. In the last couple of months the background signal hase risen to 100-120nC impeding the analysis. Other than that, baseline is straight and the noise is very low. We tried the following but to no effect:
1. changed the H2O source
2. removed the column and precolumn
3. changed the eluent generator cartridge
4. changed all the internal tubings
5. cleaned the pump with AcCN
6. cleaned the gold electrode and pH electrode
7. bought a new cell body (the previous one had a mild corrosion but not on the eluent path)
8. changed the PTFE gasket

Despite all that...the problem persists  ! I would appreciate any suggestion on how we might proceed/solve the problem.

Thank you in advance

Chrysa
