Hi,

I am going for lab certification and I have a question about calculating the MDL for a high concentration calibration curve for perchlorate. I did the MDL study for a low concentration calibration curve for this analyte (5 ppb to 100 ppb) using a 500 uL injection. I am wanting a high concentration curve that goes from 1 ppm to 50 ppm using a 50 uL injection (1 ppm MRL). How do I calculate an MDL for this high concentration calibration curve? Do I run replicates of a high concentration LFB (such as 1 ppm) using the calibration range of 1 to 50 ppm? Or do I need to go lower than that? I am doing method 314.0 on an ICS 3000.
