Residual pulsation on IC pump [Metrohm]

Hi Dear Friends!
We have 881 Compact IC pro Anion MCS, please answer question.

Question: If use manual, technical specifications=>High pressure pump=>Residual pulsa-
tion< 1 %, but we have 8.0 - 8.5 MPa fluctuations after completely equilibrated system (>60 min), temperature of column heater - 50 C.

sorry for the late answer.

A pulsation as you mention it is by far to high for a proper running system. You actually speak about fluctuations. Also for baseline stability the range is too high.
But if you speak about pulsation you need to look for regular pressure changes in the frequncy of the piston mouvment.

I strongly recommend to check back with the Metrohm Service.
