Following on a little bit from a previous post.
We use the AS-40, the ICS-2000 and 5.0 ml vials.
Does anyone know what has to be done to convert to using the 0.5 ml vials. Our sample loop is 25 ul

So far as far as I can tell you have to change the relay timing in the method to 1 minute from 2.30 minutes and you have to set the AS-40 for 0.5 ml instead of 5.0 ml on the front panel of the AS40.

Is there anything else that needs to be done other than buying the vials and correct size auto sampler racks

Thanks
Kevin
This reply is a little late but the AS40 should auto detect the size of vials you are using. As long as the correct vials are in the correct racks, the autosampler will know which size vials are being loaded.
