My nonprofit has acquired an old Finnigan LCQ MAT to do some interesting environmental work. Alongside this, I found an Xcalibur+Foundation CD off of ebay that I thought would work, but attempting to configure any instruments results in a message saying "no devices installed"

Im beginning to wonder if the LC devices CD is also needed, but the Foundation manual suggests otherwise. Thermo isn't answering support requests, and Im at a loss of what to try next.

Anyone know what software stack, and versions, are required for this old gem?
You've probably already deduced...you'll likely need Xcalibur 1.2. It is the version that has the native drivers for the LCQ Classic. LC Device drivers aren't necessary, unless you plan to interface the Surveyor series hplc pumps.
I definitely did not know this, and thank you kindly for the right version number!
