LC-MS of Nucleotides.

Hello!

My team and I are attempting to use a Thermo TSQ Quantum Ultra triple quad for the detection of nucleotides. However, their TIC and subsequent mass spec looks awful (below).



They're using 10 mM ammonium acetate and methanol as their LC eluent. I have tried optimizing the MS a few times but have had a hard time getting better ionization, so I was curious if there are any tips someone could provide?

They're using positive ion mode and I've had them try adding formic acid to their samples but nothing really helped.

I'm happy to answer questions as needed.
